This Commission was for a 70th birthday gift for the president of the Scottish Football Association  Alan McRae by his family, friends, close colleagues and Club. Alan was a player and former chairman of Cove

Rangers.

In July 2018, Cove moved into the new Balmoral Stadium. It has a capacity of 2,602 (370 seated).

They are based in the Cove Bay area of Aberdeen and played in the Highland League, but since writing this, in 2019 they were promoted to Scottish League two for the first time in the clubs history.

The commission brief was for the complete stadium and relative surroundings. It was not to exceed 500mm square and needed to be completed and delivered by the 31st of October 2018. The model took an estimated 80 man hours to complete.
